Position Summary:
Responsible for the overall support and management of the Middleware domain. Collaborates with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on daily basis providing middleware advice, consultation, and support.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned:
Analyzes requirements to design and implement middleware services
Installs, manages, and supports middleware services, collaborating with various partners
Provides extensive knowledge of core infrastructure components (high availability, federation, replication) improving support and project outcomes.
Ensures proper documentation and knowledge exists to support, operate, and maintain middleware services
Provides oversight for technical deployment plans and system utilization reports; execute summaries for stakeholders and senior management
Partner with other technologists and project managers to plan and implement applications which support business requirements

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied science or related field r equivalent combination of education and experience
Equivalency is Associate degree in computer science, applied science or related field plus five years of healthcare IT experience.
Eight years experience, supporting a broad range IT infrastructure (e.g. databases, middleware, Linux and Windows servers, networks, voice, storage, clients)
Preferred:

Two years experience with Cerner Millennium
