Schedule: Monday to Friday start time between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to completion of work.
As an Operations Supervisor for the Clermont MPB multi-specialty team, you'll be helping to keep our distribution center operating smoothly. From training to problem-solving to maintaining equipment, your work will help save lives. The operations supervisor will be responsible for all activities in their assigned area of coverage as well as:
Assist Operations Manager with planning, organizing, and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful 2nd shift operations.Lead a team consisting of 20+ production team members.Assist with maintaining a positive morale, work standards and developing teams.Assist with training and managing employee performanceAssertively seek solutions to problems at the root level.Ensure warehouse operations comply with federal, state, and local company policiesAssist with controlling expensesEnsure warehouse equipment and vehicles are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company standards.Interview, hire, and develop a teamProvide work direction, resolve problems, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.Conduct start up meetings and deliver business objectives, safety tips and general production information as appropriate.Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems and complaints.Communicate safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws.Support special projects and assignments.Maintains communications with other departments with regards to any problem related to his/her area of coverage.Maintains excellent working environment focused on teamwork and open communication.Provide daily management presence, mentor staff and promote teamwork and collaboration.Ensure quality standards maintained with respect to project deliverables and client interactions.Provide professional internal/external presentations.Acts as the company's primary resource in his/her area of expertise, providing leadership and direction on all related issues.Share technical and competitive information with colleagues and provide expertise to others when required.Promotes cooperation within own team as well as between groups and with other departments.All other assigned duties as presented by the manager.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities

Additional Knowledge & Skills
Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferredSkilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline, and record keepingWMS experience preferredMS Access proficiency and ability to interpret and analyze data
