  Job Description

  Lead and oversee development, implementation, and sustainment of career, professional, and leadership development programs to include but not limited to:

  Leadership Development Programs for all leadership levels, to include development specific to desired leadership culture

  Orientation Programs

  Career Development and Pathways

  Salaried Individual Contributor Development and Growth

  Collaborate with Human Capital Council to align and execute people strategy to achieve business strategy

  Partner with business leaders to assess gaps in our ability to Build Capability in our workforce; develop and implement programs that support the Company’s Human Capital Council (HCC) strategic initiatives and overall business objectives. Assess effectiveness of all programs and implement actions to close gaps between current state and desired state.

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience

  One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

  NNS Apprentice School graduate

  Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate

  Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience

  Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience

  High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience

  High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience

  Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  Operational experience from which to draw practical experiences in learning and development to help craft our leadership development continuum

  Experience with leading organizational culture efforts, with specific experiences in large scale “enculturation”

  Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion perspective and experience to help foster awareness, access, and participation to establish equity in development

  Significant experience leading and building teams to achieve organizational strategic goals

  Executive level communication experience
