  Key Responsibilities:

  Understand all aspects of an optimal practice and complete the training and development needed to continue a successful career as a Financial AdvisorDeliver a full range of goals-based financial planning / wealth strategies including assessment of client needsMaintain a robust knowledge of the firm's latest planning tools, techniques and strategiesEstablish and maintain relationships with the management team and inform them of circumstances that require supervisory attention/review/approval per compliance guidelines and policiesSource prospective clients and capitalize on referralsDeliver customized solutions and the full resources of Bank of America Merrill

  Required Skills:

  FINRA Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66) registrations required with 5+ years' experienceEstablished practice and experience managing client portfolios and driving growthProven relationship building and business development skills

  Desired Skills:

  Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferredPossess excellent communication skills, both written and verbalHighly entrepreneurial

  Job Code Summary:

  The Financial Advisor (FA) is a licensed retail broker position that provides investment advice and recommendations to clients. Profiling activities to determine a client investor profile, financial resources objectives, time horizon and preferences. Providing advice and guidance to clients on investment and related planning strategies. Recommendation of investment products and services that are suitable for prospects and clients based on their objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile, and preferences. Financial Advisors may engage in some mortgage related activities, but others are not permitted unless they are dually employed by MLPF&S and the Bank of America, NA. The requirements for dual employment and the permissible and non-permissible activities are described in Mortgage and Credit Policy in the Merrill Lynch Global Wealth and Investment Branch Office Compliance Manual. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. This job is to support the PTA strategy, and this role is specific for recruits from non-protocol firms
