About Mental Health Therapist Internship

  Description Join our exciting Internship Opportunity! Nexus-Mille Lacs offers trauma-informed, family-centered, nationally recognized treatment for boys, ages 10-19, with significant mental health issues and harmful sexual behaviors. Responsibilities: Fulfills the required academic program and or/Academic Institution's criteria for an internship learning objectives Participates in the orientation and the onboarding process to learn Nexus Family Healing's policy and procedure expectations (e.g. safety, harassment free environment, resident confidentiality, etc.) Ensures confidentiality of all treatment and services information pertaining to clients and their families Maintains agreed upon schedule and timeliness Meets the supervision requirements and expectations Acts ethically, professionally, and is respectful when communicating and interfacing with clients, coworkers, and external contacts Qualifications: Must be enrolled in a master's or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences, human services, or related fields, from an accredited college or university. Must meet the required number of experience hours in a human services field for the internship level Valid driver's license required and meets the state regulating agency and Nexus Corporate driving requirements Knowledge of family-based philosophy and practice is preferred What We Offer: Career opportunities after internship completion!
