　　The Mental Health Technician II provides direct patient care to psychiatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

　　Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

　　Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

　　Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

　　Requirements:

　　BLS (Basic Life Support)

　　High School or Equivalent

　　FL Driver's License

　　Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

　　Preferred - CNA/PCT

　　Required Experience:
