　　Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, located in Lakewood, NJ, is looking for aMental Health Associatefor a new innovative unit providing an outstanding level of care for our patients with dual need of care (Medical and Behavioral diagnoses).

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　The Mental Health Associate position provides care to the patients and maintains a safe environment under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies and procedures and be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstrating concern and consideration.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Baccalaureate degree in a related field OR a minimum of 5 years behavioral health experience required

　　Minimum 1-year experience, training, or education in the field of treatment preferred

　　Maintains required Heart Saver BLS certification/course completion status

　　Successful completion of all orientation programs

　　Must possess excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
