SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE: The MembershipServices Representative\'s primary responsibilities are the execution ofthe day to day operations and workflow of the Welcome Desk and todeliver high quality customer service at all times. This individual mustbe knowledgeable on facility programs, able to communicate thatknowledge effectively, and be able to complete the necessary paperworkand computer transactions associated with Welcome Desk functions. Thereis currently a need for individuals who are available to work eveningand weekend shifts (3:00 pm- Close weekdays; 6:00 am - 6:00 pmSaturdays). Some flexibility for occasional daytime hours is preferred.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This job description should not be interpreted asall inclusive. Responsible for the accurate and consistent collection ofall fees and information related to memberships, day passes, gift cards,classes, rentals, etc. according to policies and procedures. Ensure allrequests are met and tasks completed in a friendly, professional,accurate, timely, and confidential manner. Direct incoming phone callsto the appropriate department. Report problems/issues to appropriatedepartmental supervisors or Manager on Duty as necessary. Provideeffective tours to drive new memberships. Assist with customer retentionby contacting members to secure updated credit and bank card informationto keep the customer\'s membership from lapsing.
