  COWBOYS CLUB

  Legends is the official hospitality partner of Cowboys Club. The partnership includes overseeing the food and beverage program development and management for the Cowboys Club.

  THE ROLE

  The Membership Manager oversees aspects of club membership, from new member recruitment to oversight of the membership committee, to the maintenance and development of positive relations with local and visiting members. The Membership Manager is the face of the club, available to act on member feedback while managing access to the club, and preserving club roles and conduct. Collaborate with event teams in suggesting and attending member events and benefits. Oversee membership team including administrative team members and take responsibility for annual membership targets. The Membership Manager will report to the GM and the Club Director

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  Play a central role in building and managing a productive committee of 30-40 people in coordination with the Club Director.

  Schedule, Organize, and chair quarterly committee meetings to review new member applications as a group.

  Gather feedback about club developments, levels of service, facilities and member perceptions.

  Ensure Committee members are productive in generating appropriate member applications through regular contact and meeting attendance. Refresh weak committee members when necessary

  Manage the Cowboy Club membership admin team. Liaise when necessary to resolve any issues with cards, payments or applicant paperwork.

  Pay close attention to any resignations by members, make contact directly when appropriate; take appropriate decisions on member renewals, etc.

  Maintain a constant presence in the club, being the ‘face’ of the club to members.

  Lead or oversee all new member introductions to the club to ensure members understand benefits, rules and opportunities.

  Ensure you meet all new members when possible, explaining your role and allowing them to contact you if they choose.

  Play an active part in the creation and implementation of the members’ events programming, helping to ensure that events are well planned (by the events Manager) and communicated (by marketing colleagues). Make sure members can host or help with events (where applicable) as well as suggest new event formats.

  Work with members to ensure they understand the club rules; dispense warnings; suspensions and membership terminations where appropriate.

  Liaise closely with Front Desk members and operational teams in oversight of inappropriate behaviors.

  Promote the club, as well as the training facility and the surrounding community to all members and appropriate guests. Encourage booking of hotel rooms, private spaces, and all member events.

  Work closely with Club Director, GM and the operations team to improve all aspects of the member experience. Schedule all new member meetings for the Club Director to attend.

  Engage in the Frisco and surrounding community, attend events, parties, launches, and social settings, developing contacts, networking and build awareness about the club, its facilities, your role, and how new contacts the Cowboys Club

  When appropriate, facilitate access to the club for visiting high profile celebrities and personalities (as well as a limited number of guests), ensuring they receive good service and enjoy their time as our guests. This will be in conjunction with the Club Director.

  For Major Cowboy Club Events, both on and off site, play a central role in putting together the guest list(s), ensuring members and VIPs get access, as applicable.

  Educate the Cowboy Club management and staff about how to generate applications from potential new members and identify new committee members. Ensure their suggestions and processed through the committee meetings.

  Other duties as assigned

  QUALIFICATIONS

  The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  The Membership Manager should be a charismatic, confident, and creative individual.

  Have a knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

  Have extensive knowledge of Cowboys Club politics, different areas, creative groups and social scenes.

  A huge personal circle of contacts across the community is a plus.

  Have a minimum 3 years of experience in a hospitality guest or member facing environment.

  Have experience with high profile guests.

  Have a minimum 2 years of experience working in an events environment.

  Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.

  Must be able to work in a team environment.
