Urgently Hiring an MLT for a Hospital Medical Laboratory located in Brooklyn, NY!!

　　Qualifications:

　　NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or valid permit issued by NYSDOE Clinical Laboratory to Technology

　　ASCP certification is preferred but not required as long as they have the full New York State MLT license.

　　Job Description:

　　The Medical Technologist performs qualitative and quantitative analysis on all specimens received in the laboratory for the station assigned.

　　Specifically working in hematology and responsible for urinalysis, coagulation and spinal counts.

　　Ensure that all specimens are put in appropriate storage

　　Follow all quality control policies and procedures to ensure reliable patient results

　　Recognize critical or life-threatening results, verify results, and report to the appropriate clinician

　　Document all results in the LIS

　　Shifts Available:

　　3pm-11pm / 4pm-12am

　　11pm-7am / 12am-8am

　　Experience Level:

　　Intermediate Level
