　　Mount Auburn Hospital is a 217-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School and is located in Cambridge, MA. Founded in 1886, the hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare to the residents of surrounding nearby communities. 　　Non-Invasive Cardiology Department Description

　　The Non-Invasive Cardiology Department at Mount Auburn Hospital is comprised of the Echo Lab, Stress Lab, Pacer Clinic, Cardiac Rehab, and Vascular Lab. The Department provides comprehensive cardiology testing and services to our patients. Our Echo Lab, Vascular Lab, and Cardiac Rehab are fully accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

　　General Expectations and Duties

　　A minimum of 45 words/minute typing skills. Strong computer skills Knowledge of medical terminology and various medical specialties Participates in continuous improvement efforts Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining professional, high-quality, and efficient service to patients, visitors, and colleagues. Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English) including grammar and punctuation. Acquires/maintains competency in use of the electronic medical record Collaborates with various departments to ensure continuity of care Performs all other duties as assigned

　　High-school diploma or GED required Basic computer skills required Ability to adapt to a fast-paced stressful environment required Associates degree preferred Current BLS preferred Monday-Friday dayshifts only. No Weekends. No Holidays. Available for flexible dayshifts between the hours of 0700 and 1600 or per department needs. Previous medical secretary experience highly preferred Epic experience preferred
