Calling all Medical Assistants or Registered Nurses that are interested in moving out of patient care! We have the perfect fit!! Our practice in Ormond Beach is looking to add to their team. We are looking for an organized Referral Coordinator to manage referral and authorization requests from our physicians. You will be the primary contact for patients needing referrals, authorizations, and specialist appointments. Are you organized and customer focused? Do you enjoy being an integral part of a team? Responsibilities

Handle all referral and authorization requests promptly.

Maintain communication between patients and providers.

Ensure accurate referral documentation and patient information.

Provide clinical background and referral needs to specialists.

Review cases with providers for prior approval requirements.

Submit authorization requests and follow up with insurance companies.

Assist patients with potential issues, including financial or social barriers.

Act as a system navigator and advocate for patients.

Utilize cultural and community resources.

Update patient charts with specialist consults and test results.
