SUMMARY

　　Kelly Science is seeking a Health/Medical Physicist for an exciting direct-hire (permanent) opportunity with one of our partners in Rochester, MN. This individual will oversee radiation protection, health analysis, and risk assessment in support of facility licensing and operation.

　　DUTIES

　　Manage radiation safety program for radiopharmaceutical production facility

　　Lead training programs for team members in radiation-prone areas

　　Plan, modify, and evaluate radiation safety policies and procedures

　　Manage personnel dosimetry for production staff

　　Guide and approve research for new radionuclide applications

　　Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal, state, and federal requirements

　　Evaluate new equipment and procedures for radiation compliance

　　Implement safeguards for compliance with regulations and licensing conditions

　　Establish and maintain protocols for radiation detection device calibration

　　Handle, process, and dispose of radioactive waste; provide training

　　Operate radioactive material receipt and distribution program

　　EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

　　Bachelor's Degree in health physics or related field (Master's Degree preferred)

　　3 years of relevant experience in radiation safety, health physics, or related field

　　Certification in Health Physics, Medical Physics, or Radiology and Medical Physics
