Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

Utilizes Medical Technician skills and training to perform test of samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information utilized in diagnosis and evaluation of a patient’s medical situations. Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with supervision.

POSITION QUALIFICATION:

Associate Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological or Medical Laboratory Technician/Clinical Laboratory Technician (MLT/CLT) from an accredited institution.

Or be qualified under CLIA guidelines as a MLT/CLT.

MLT/CLT Certification preferred.

One to two years of experience preferred.

Good communication and basic computer skilled needed.
