We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in the Healthcare industry. The role is based out of Portland, Maine, United States. As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining and updating medical records, processing data, and ensuring the smooth running of administrative operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently convert medical and billing records from paper to the EMR system.

• Exhibit strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Take responsibility for scanning, filing, and shredding historical documents.

• Assist in managing backlogged medical records and ensure their accurate entry into the system.

• Handle paper filing, organization, and document management tasks.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Data Entry is necessary, with a keen focus on accuracy and speed.

• Familiarity with EMR - Electronic Medical Records is essential due to the nature of the role.

• Previous experience handling Medical Records is preferred, along with understanding of the relevant compliance guidelines.
