  Overview

  Would you like to work as part of a collaborative dynamic multi-disciplinary case management team of subject matter experts? Would you like a career that gives you opportunities to manage multiple teams of case managers to improve the quality of life of patients and their families?

  Responsibilities

  Oversee all aspects of operations of MCM Specialty Services including staffing, policies and procedures, regulatory and contract compliance, evaluation of outcomes, and applicable revisions to services.

  Work with CM SVP in establishing and revising the structure and budget of Specialty Services to most efficiently meet the goals of MCM Specialty Services Unit.

  Work with CM SVP in the implementation of contract requirements with ongoing evaluation of compliance and enhancements.

  Work with CM SVP in assuring compliance with requirements for licensing, certification, security, and government regulations.

  Supervise and mentor MCM managers/supervisors in duties as outlined in position job descriptions

  Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate MCM Supervisors, Managers and Case Managers

  Establish and enhance policies, protocols, work instructions, job aids to achieve optimum successful outcomes from the Specialty Unit.

  Provide MCM intervention for cases requiring specialized knowledge and/or skill, which may include cases that are high profile, congressional, potential media events, highly litigated, fraudulent, and/or long-term disability.

  Provide supplemental support and assistance to Case Managers during staff transition and/or spikes in assigned caseloads.

  Qualifications

  Unrestricted State Registered Nursing License

  10 years in nursing management with budget and contract compliance responsibilities and management of supervisory staff and multiple nursing service delivery teams

  5 years experience in Nursing, with at least 5 years in workers' compensation, case management, or disability management.

  5 years of management experience

  2 years of work experience in Customer Support

  United States Citizenship

  Federal security clearance required

  Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility in related field; or a Master's degree; or Associates Nurse Degree with 6 years related health care management experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
