　　Robert Half Buffalo continuously looking for skilled and detail-oriented Medical Billers to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing and coding medical services, working with insurance providers, and ensuring timely reimbursement. 　　Responsibilities:

　　Review and accurately code medical procedures for billing purposes.

　　Prepare and submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies.

　　Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as necessary.

　　Verify patients' insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.

　　Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts.

　　Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve billing issues.

　　Stay informed about changes in medical billing and coding regulations.

　　Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

　　Collaborate with the billing team to achieve department goals and targets.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a related role.

　　Knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance processes.

　　Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR).

　　Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing.

　　Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

　　Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.

　　Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred.
