Provides direct patient and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office/clinic policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
Required SkillsCertifications:Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.Completion of Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) within 90 days of hire.This is a non-certified MA position.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
