Great opportunity for a Medical Assistant Floater! This is a 13 weektemp assignment, working in a variety of Pittsfield medical offices.Hours may vary by practice, but all are 8 hrs daily falling between thehours of 7:45a- 5:15pm. Must be Certified or Registered with solidreferences. Pay between \$23-\$25/HR 40 hours guaranteed! He/she will beresponsible for assisting the practitioners in the performance ofprocedures and other patient care required by the clients. The MedicalAssistant functions clinically under the direction of the practitionersand will perform other duties as requested by the Practice SiteSupervisor. The Medical Assistant will work collaboratively with othermembers of the team to ensure timely and smooth office flow, alwayskeeping the needs of the patient first. Dress Code: Personal scrubs ofany color Other Requirements: - Experience in basic office skills isrequired, data entry skills preferred. - Working knowledge of Windowsbased PC applications is required. - Experience in surgical scheduling,procedures, etc. is preferred. - Ability to work independently and takedirection. - Demonstrated ability to read and follow written/verbaldirection. - Sensitive to diverse cultures and cultural differences. -Knowledge of community services. - Demonstrated ability to adapt tofast-paced, multifaceted position. - Good telephone communicationskills. - Must be flexible to cover for vacations and earned timeabsences. - Flexible hours required. - Self-motivated and ability to beindependent and flexible within a team framework. - Excellent oral andwritten skills. - Will be expected to travel to other office siteswithin Berkshire County. - Demonstrated ability to handle confidentialand sensitive information. - Must be able to speak and write the Englishlanguage in an understandable manner. #ESPriority
