Description: Coming in about 30 mins before provider schedules starts, preparing rooms, making sure they are fully stocked, reviewing schedule, setting up surgical trays, preparing for what you see on schedule, most of the doctors see patients every 15 mins, seeing patients every 15 mins, room the patient, interviewing them, chief complaint, history, etc., the MA's are used as scribes, you go in and take down the notes in the computer system for the doctor, you create the preliminary note for the doctor, willing to get certified but they wouldn't pay for it because it is not needed. They scribe with provider, give instructions to the patient, take out sutures, then move onto the next patient. They need to answer emails/phone calls, calling patients back with pathology results.
