Job Description Summary Works under the supervision of the Sleep Center Manager. Performs duties as follows: Polysomnography, Palpitations, MSLTs, MWTs, overnight oximetry, multichannel sleep studies, ETC02, Holter monitoring application, scanning and scoring, ISR, general office duties and pulmonary rehabilitation. Works with pediatric to geriatric patients. Essential Functions
Operates polysomnographic equipment for testing or scoring. Prepares patients for procedures and ensures proper orders and guidelines are followed.
Provides service to Inpatients as needed for holters and overnight oximetry set ups. Coordinates with Nursing to provide services.
Scheduling of patients and performs routine paperwork and documentation into computer system for patients electronic medical record and reviews interpretations for return orders.
Performs Interscorer Reliability for Quality assurance and other QA programs as assigned. Additional Job DescriptionAdditional Job Description2 staff members decreased her hours in 2020 to reducing FTE of 0.4/week. No replacement for hours was generated due to staff in Respiratory department due to Covid. Will look at adding another PRN employee for both location for flexibility. 20hr replacement for Tiffany and prn position should help until back to full capacity to determine if more staffing needed.
