　　Job Description

　　Development Engineering - skilled mechanical / electronics / electrical technician for ESP and IPB (Integrated Power Brake) test equipment and components

　　Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade and build functional and durability test equipment, which includes:

　　carrying out functional, endurance and other validation testing

　　working with integrated computer, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical components

　　automated testing and special setups, tryouts and manual tests

　　work with and on ESP and IPB (hydraulic brake modulation) parts, including ECU, SW and re-flashing

　　IT security and network servers

　　perform additional assignments within product development

　　maintain safe working conditions and follow plant safety policies including lock-out procedure

　　write and update documentation for equipment and processes

　　apply 5S and CIP to maintain and improve quality and equipment reliability and utilization

　　Qualifications

　　Associate of Applied Science Degree and or equivalent job experience.

　　Successful completion of Robert Bosch apprenticeship program or equivalent training

　　Must demonstrate:

　　experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment

　　proficiency in operation of mill, lathe and other machining equipment

　　high attention to detail, personal organization, initiative and teamwork

　　Strongly preferred:

　　proficiency in building, troubleshooting and maintaining:

　　electronics (<50v) equipment

　　electrical (< 480V) equipment

　　computer, data acquisition, IT security and communications equipment
