We are seeking a highly motivated Project Designer to join our Facilities team. This candidate is a highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and has a passion for learning and experiencing a variety of challenging assignments. The position is remote .

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, isometrics, process & instrumentation diagrams, and specifications
Develop bidding, construction, and record documents
Confer with the lead engineer and project manager to incorporate design information and client standards into the construction documents
Develop pipe routing and layouts, including specification and placement of equipment, flanges, joints, fittings, valves, and instrumentation
Develop isometrics, schematics, and process & instrumentation diagrams
Create and maintain 3-dimensional models and integrate models from a variety of design platforms
Work with the lead engineer to perform pipe and valve sizing and material specifications
Customize CAD software to generate innovative solutions and meet client requirements
Occasional travel to project sites throughout North America
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Associate's degree in Engineering CAD Technology and related industry experience
7-10 years of experience with mechanical drafting
Extensive experience with Revit
Experience with AutoCad is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
Must be able to pass a background check to be considered
