　　The Mechanical Engineering Intern will assist Zurn Elkay with various projects to support Zurn Elkay’s Product Engineers in the development and launch of products. The student will:

　　Co-lead projects with Zurn Elkay's Product Engineers

　　Work with Product Managers on putting New Products though stage gate processes

　　Work on 3D CAD Modeling

　　Populate engineering attributes within Elkay's enterprise system

　　Work on design projects

　　Perform product testing

　　By the end of the assignment, students will learn to work with a team approach while managing multiple projects/tasks. They will also be provided an understanding of how meeting timelines and accuracy of work will impact a project.

　　We are targeting students completing their sophomore or junior year of college who are interested in working in a dynamic and engaging work environment to participate in our internship program. Students completing their freshman year may apply, but we prefer students already into their core curriculum. Elkay interns will apply the skills and knowledge developed in college while contributing to exciting real world projects!

　　Qualifications:

　　Students completing their sophomore or junior year working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering related.

　　Ability to work collaboratively and/or independently in a dynamic environment.

　　Prefer completion of CAD Design classes

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

　　Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

　　Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

　　Minimum GPA: 3.0.

　　Ability to work 40 hours per week.
