EquipmentShare is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer

　　EquipmentShare is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to work out of the Moberly, MO or the Columbia, MO location, to support our team as we continue to grow.

　　EquipmentShare is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for utility truck bed design, design of various mechanical parts related to OEM integration of EquipmentShare proprietary products, and the design of products to support the overall EquipmentShare mission.

　　Primary Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer

　　Concept and develop mechanical components and systems that may include multiple plastic processes, castings or forgings, stampings or laser cut parts, and welding or bonding of components.

　　Communication with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration

　　Work with manufacturing, product verification and validation, and suppliers to develop efficient and cost effective designs

　　Document the design solution required for production and product validation testing

　　Experience working with 3D modeling software such as Creo and SolidWorks, including the modeling of components, sheet metal, and hydraulic or electrical routings

　　Skills & Qualifications of a Mechanical Engineer

　　BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

　　Truck body design experience is helpful

　　Experience in 3-D Modeling Software; Creo 4.0 experience (Preferred)

　　Previous experience with Windchill or PDMLink

　　Strong understanding of GD&T

　　Design of weldments to meet AWS D1.1 requirements

　　Design experience or exposure to off-road mobile equipment

　　Ability to address quality issues, determine root cause and drive to a corrective action

　　Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies

　　Excellent communication both written and verbal

　　Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments

　　Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

　　Ability to thrive in a team environment
