Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Onsite with ability to be hybrid down the road
Job Functions:
Design and Development (50%)Create and develop detailed mechanical designs, components, and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to reality.
Ensure that designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
Analysis and Testing (20%)Perform structural and thermal analysis to validate design integrity.
Conduct testing and evaluation of mechanical systems and prototypes.
Identify and resolve design issues through testing and analysis.
Documentation and Reporting (15%)Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings and reports.
Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress.
Communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders.
Collaboration and Support (10%)Collaborate with colleagues, project managers, and clients to meet project goals.
Provide technical support during the fabrication, assembly, and commissioning phases.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts.
Continuous Improvement (5%)Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design and development.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Adaptable and eager to learn.
