Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description:

　　Seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Niceville. The ideal candidate will have experience in rapid prototyping with a Department of Defense background and a knack for design for manufacturing. You will be responsible for developing models from concept design and designing mounts, enclosures for electronics, considering factors such as g-shock and vibration. The role also includes developing 3D parts for proof of concept, then machining the part for final application.

　　Work Environment:

　　This position will have you working in an office, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing areas. You will enjoy the small company feel and culture, with a visible role that is vertically integrated, reducing mid-level management. This is a contract to hire position with great benefits, and negotiable paid time off and holidays.

　　Hard Skills:

　　Mechanical Engineering expertise

　　Experience in R&D / Prototyping

　　Experience in creating machined parts

　　Knowledge of design for manufacturability

　　Department of Defense background

　　Soft Skills:

　　The position requires a candidate who is willing to take on a leadership role overseeing the mechanical design team eventually. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
