　　We're hiring Mechanical Designer or Sr. Mechanical Designer to perform complex mechanical design tasks, improve product designs and work collaboratively with various teams!What you will be doing:Under limited supervision, you will work with engineers, mechanical designers, manufacturing, suppliers, marketing and industrial design by performing large, complex mechanical design assignments related to the creation, development and/or improvement of product designs.  Results are reviewed in detail particularly when key decisions are required, and major milestones are achieved. You will also work to fulfill specific R.O.I. responsibilities.

　　Mechanical Design:  Conceive designs, mechanical design analysis, intent and verification.  Maintain technical integrity of the product by sound application of mechanical design principles, fabrication principles and verification activities.Mechanical Design Tools and Processes:  Computer aided design modeling.  Create computer models for mechanical design analysis, engineering analysis and other uses.  Use mechanical design process tools for mechanical design and verification applications.*Experience in PTC Creo and Solid Works, Windchill highly preferredMechanical Design Documentation:  Mechanical design documentation, verification and records.  Create documentation package and verify accuracy and completeness.Project Support:  Support mechanical engineers, team members and customers.  Ensure that goals and objectives are met through effective involvement, contribution and coordination.Functional Support/Special Assignments:  Support department and corporation goals.  Ensure that goals and objectives are met through effective involvement and contribution.Quality:  Comply with the Steelcase quality system.  Ensure that all applicable procedures and standards are followed.  Ensure quality results in all deliverables.Self-Development/Network: Define and implement professional development plan with management. Self-development activities may include, but are not limited to, participation in professional organization(s), networking, educational and certification courses.Influencing Others:  Assist with the technical portion of an initiative.  Positively influence peers.  Effectively exercise interpersonal skills.Education/Experience:

　　Bachelors Degree/Associates Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.Working experience as a mechanical designer with direct CAD applications.
