About the Diesel MechanicPosition As a Diesel Mechanic with First Student, you will help maintainand repair school buses to ensure vehicle readiness & safety, whileproviding guidance to lower-level technicians. Other major job dutiesinclude: Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, andannual DOT maintenance inspections. Diagnose and perform all phases ofvehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains,& transmissions. Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
