This is a temporary job for 40 Meat, Poultry and fish cutters and trimmers located in Yazoo City MS. The work week is 40 hours Monday through Friday, 8:00am -- 4:00pm. Work begins 3/1/2024 -- 5/31/2024. Pay is $14.53 per hour. 

　　Raw Catfish Fillet, Trimmer, and Packer: Employee inspects fish for blemishes or defects and either hand fillets fish, trims already filleted fish, or conforms raw fillets into other raw products. Employees must remove all bones, trim all excess fat, skin, tissues, and ragged edges from fish using handheld knives. Employees must also separate fish and byproducts into specified containers or boxes (fillets, nuggets, miscuts, whole fish, or specific specialty cuts). Be flexible and assist in other areas of the company as needed or required. Employees will be assigned to work in particular plant areas and to perform particular work within the job description based on the employer's needs at any given time. Work area may consist of concrete floors, cold, noisy, wet, and damp surroundings. This job only works with fresh fish. Employees must adhere to all applicable food safety and sanitation requirements and adhere to all safety rules and guidelines as stated in the employee handbook.
