JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, isseeking aMaterials Specialist (North) in ourAppleton, Wisconsinlocation. Job Summary Conduct all supply activities related to theprocurement, handling, coordination, and disbursing of materials,equipment, and services requested by internal and external customers atvarious locations and job sites. Activities include (but not limited to)quality inspection of received materials, pre-assembly, kitting, recordsmanagement, dispatching WE vehicles, and return goods for shipment. JobResponsibilities The Materials Specialist (North) performs the followingduties: Working with the business units, contractors and suppliers todefine and schedule resources to meet the material and servicerequirements of the business units. Orders materials and services fromsuppliers/providers using pre-established guidelines. Monitors storeroomlevels and conducts a physical review of stock balances to verifybalances or adjust discrepancies in order to maintain accurate inventorylevels. Unloads materials, inspects them for damage and entersmaterial/service data into the computer for identification and trackingpurposes. Contacting suppliers and the sourcing group to resolveshipment and invoicing problems. Uses equipment and hand tools todistribute materials to internal and external customers. Handling,preparation and delivery of materials to various Company locations andjob sites. Coordinates the packaging (kitting) and preassembly ofmaterials for delivery. Coordinates the job site delivery of materialsand equipment as requested by the business units. Order & dispose ofhazardous materials. Miscellaneous duties as required or assigned.Minimum Experience Required Applicant must have a valid driver\'slicense and meet the company\'s requirements for driving. The selectedapplicant must obtain an interstate commercial driver\'s license (CDL)within 90 days of entry into the job. Applicant must comply with DOTcommercial driver\'s license (CDL) drug and alcohol testingrequirements. This position may require unescorted access to certaincritical cyber assets which would require applicants to satisfy allCompany and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004security requirements, which includes a background investigation.Candidates may be required to demonstrate their ability to perform thephysical functions of the position by completing a Physical CapacityEvaluation.
