Job DetailsJob Summary:To interface with all areas of the business (Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, Purchasing, Warehouse and Receiving, QA, etc.) to assure customers are serviced and satisfied for responsible product lines. This is a position that must work closely with the other planners in the department and corporate staff to assure communications relating to deliveries, inventory, and total cycle time, is effective.
Primary Responsibilities:
Planning of OEM and Inter-Company orders, which is performed daily and requires knowledge of Oracle ASCP. Position will have responsibility to assure the fields within Oracle ASCP are consistent and support the planning process to meet the inventory and customer service objectives. This includes both daily review and quarterly/annual reviews that support the analysis of the marketing forecast plan to assure objectives are achieved.
Produce a weekly/monthly schedule requires capacity analysis and yearly capacity plan for the product lines responsible.
Purchasing and communication with cross-functional department employees.
Release orders to Manufacturing; expedite/de-expedite materials as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Operations, or relevant field from four-year college or university. Additional experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
2-5 years of related experience., required.
Oracle ERP Experience, preferred.
Excellent organization skills
Strong listening and communication skills.
APICS Certification, plus.
