Made Possible.Job Functions Coordinate the tasks of the Manufacturing Coordinator andthe Production Planner/Scheduler in scheduling of all machines,processes, and production activities within the plant. Responsible forcustomer on-time shipment performance. Manage shipping commitments foreffective service to all customers and advise Sales of any unplanneddelays. Optimize Average Run Quantity (ARQ) for the laminator, laminatorcutter, and extruder. Work with Customer Service and Sales as needed tomaximize ARQ. Analyze raw material requirements and determine the lowestcost scenario to fulfill order quantities. Place raw material PurchaseOrders from approved vendors to support the production schedules forassigned departments. Responsible for monitoring raw materials and WIPinventory levels within established tolerances for items produced orpurchased for the assigned operating department. Complete daily BoardShortage Report to coordinate board transfers from local outsidewarehouses into the plant for the cutting and lamination processes.Analyze and forecast film and foil usage for lamination resins. PlacePurchase Orders with lowest cost suppliers. Work with Receiving toresolve daily issues with incoming shipments from both internal andexternal warehousing and distributing.
