Description
In this role, you will work directly with engineering teams and operational stakeholders to execute and document procurement actions. You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, and be comfortable with processing contractual actions. Candidates must be able to Multi-task different business operation tasks within Amazon, commercial industry partners, and Government customers. The best candidates will have deep understanding of prioritization and task completion.
Key job responsibilities
• Be responsible for the procurement of materials for the entire Kuiper Government entity.
• Track metrics in regards to material receipt and spend.
• Manage and execute procurement mechanism and process for commercial product purchases.
• Support Contracts Managers with contract execution of prime and subcontracts through developing request for proposals/quotes, negotiation positions, documenting trade-off decision for leadership, tracking contractual deliverables, and process contract close-out procedures.
• Research and identify prospective suppliers.
• Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
• Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and measure suppliers’ performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
• Prepares and submits requests for quotations (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), requests for qualified suppliers, and requests for information.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
• Work with Quality Assurance for inspection upon delivery to ensure orders are filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance, troubleshoot fulfillment issues, initiate corrective actions for non-conforming materials, and resolve suppliers’ issues and concerns.
This position is in Arlington, VA. Some travel, both domestic and international, will be required.
Security Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, so you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years working in a Professional Services organization or other consulting industry.
• 2+ years demonstrated ability to execute and document business operations. Track, document, and enforce compliance procedures. Manage end-to-end acquisition actions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Contractual Management of a Commercial or Government portfolio.
• Excel experience and the ability to conduct analysis of data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations (Pivot Tables, charts, graphs, etc.)
• Experience preparing and delivering state of the business documents and presentations.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and WorkDocs
