  Role Overview:

  This role is directly responsible for establishing the forecast of material required to support MRO Operations in the fulfillment of service contracts. The candidate selected will work closely with demand management as well as OEM supply chain personnel to ensure delivery schedules are understood and in support of MRO production needs.

  Job Responsibilities:

  Coordinate with demand planning to understand current and upcoming service contracts

  Understand the frequency of replacement at the component level for forecasting purposes

  Generate a component level forecast for part replacement, based upon historical usage and extending out through leadtime

  Monitor component schedules and understand any gaps in delivery

  Maintain running list of shortages and escalate help-needed for timely resolution

  Participate in IPT related meetings as well as material allocation discussions as needed

  Ensure focus is applied and actions taken to address slow-moving inventory

  Understand overall inventory levels within MRO and monitor to mitigate unnecessary overstocking scenarios

  Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  Must have experience within Microsoft tools. (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  Must have experience within SAP and understand the mechanics of Material Requirements Planning

  Preferred Qualifications:

  The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
