What’s a typical day as a Material Handler & System Installer? You’ll be:
• Preparing mechanical components at the station/workplace/aircraft parking space.
• Installing, marking, preparing, assembling, adapting, torquing, and securing mechanical components and parts.
• Inspecting bonding as per order/GTI, drawing, and specifications.
• Checking system functions.
• Specializing in specific areas such as VTP and HTP installation, hydraulic lines installation, belly fairing and flap installation, air conditioning and fuel system installation, MLG tank test gauging, and more.
• Performing other tasks as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Aviation Production or equivalent.
• Have knowledge and experience in System/Mechanical tasks.
• Have knowledge and experience in LEAN practices.
• Have a high degree of flexibility and the ability to work under high pressure.
• Have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
