Your Role:The Material Handler - 1st shift at the Barton site is responsible for performing warehouse functions, prepare materials for shipment and provide safe transport of chemicals, supplies and equipment while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Job duties include:
Retrieve material and prepare for shipmentReceive and locate product in the warehousePerform the receiving and systems-load functions for purchased productsConsolidate product and perform location maintenancePerform cycle counts, location, and product auditsResolve inventory discrepanciesPack Domestic and International SAFC, Truck, and Dry Ice shipmentsUse powered or manual strapping and wrapping machinePhysical requirements:
Working in temperatures as low as -17CWear OSHA approved safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and glovesLift heavy objects weighing up to 100 poundsFrequently walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing ladders, on and off equipmentScoop ice up to 20 poundsMove pallets and ice tubs up to 1500 pounds with manual or electric pallet jackWho You Are:
