Material HandlerGeneral SummaryThe Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling orders and packaging items for shipment. This position is responsible for loading and unloading materials and products and verifying order accuracy. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Essential Job FunctionsMaintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concernPerforms all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core ValuesPerforms basic material handling activities: unloading trucks, receiving parts, material movements, order fulfillment, cycle counts and inventory error investigationPerforms put- a- ways of inventory from vendor as well as manufacturingMaintains inventory identification by labeling all components with company part numbers, heat numbers and or lot numbers and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory and transacting in the ERP system AXMaintains traceability on all components picked or stockedVerifies order information to ensure order accuracyLocates materials and supplies for orders by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and sales orders from material picking list.
