JOB OVERVIEW Overall responsibilities include distributingproduct from inventory and WIP to internal customers and stagingfinished product to be packaged. Issuing inventory to jobs, movingmaterials, WIP, finished goods, or other product between work centers,staging and assisting in other duties as assigned. ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES Verifying the accuracy of description, quantity, andquality of incoming deliveries. Contributes to orderly operation ofstorage, movement, and handling of different goods, supplies andmaterial to their necessary locations. Maintains inventory byidentifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock,recording locations of inventory, and reporting shortages. Locatesmaterials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplieslisted on production orders. Maintain in-process inventory at workcenters by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Operatesforklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signalsmachine operators to move materials. Track the stock within warehouseand report cycle counts and physical year end counts. Prioritize andplan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives tocomplete projects. Keeping a well-maintained and updated account ofstock and inventory. Collaborating with internal departments to locatemissing packages and replace damaged products. Encourages companyinitiatives like safety. Coordinate material moves to and from workcenters and ensures material needs are met throughout the organization.Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly solve anyissues that may appear on the production line.
