You will also monitor, organize and maintain inventory of company product at multiple branch locations while working alongside a diverse group of people. You'll be responsible for:Completing material receiving activities for shipments between locations or direct from the mill.Coordinating movement of material from stock to processing to support production requirements.Operating material handling equipment as necessary to support movement of material.Performing accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management system regarding material movements.Preparing and maintaining appropriate inventory identification tags.Completing material consolidation tasks, including supermarket.Identifying material shortages and issues, and communicate to appropriate staff. *Performing verification of scrapMaintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all workAssisting quality assurance team in activities related to creditsPerforming equipment preventative maintenance and clean up. Participate, support and comply with all health , safety, quality, ISO and 6S Initatives, compliance and Lean initiatives, requirements, and/or training. Ability to access and work in SAP or other Warehouse Management SystemYour profileTo be considered for this Job, you MUST have: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Ability to read, write, speak and understand fluent English and perform basic math problemsBasic computer skills for data entry into inventory management systemAbility to use tape measure and calipers for material inspection/measurement Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in written work and data entry *Certification to operate material handling equipment, examples include forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry-picker Preferred requirements:3 years of material control or inventory experiencePrevious experience safely operating a variety of material handling equipment (forklift, side-loader, etc.) The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
