POSITION PURPOSE
The master trainer supports the organization by training and developing new team members through a four-day centralized training program. The program provides new employees a good foundation and prepares them to work in their home
restaurants. The position will further organization goals of increased guest counts and sales through outstanding delivery of training.
Primary Responsibilities
In addition to following the franchisee organization’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities might include, but not be limited to:
Training Crew
Treat each employee with courtesy and respect as a valued employee
Prepare learning materials for daily training sessions
Train new crew members using McDonald’s station guides, training checklist, and using our training platform
Always act as a Role Model for all employees
Provide thorough and effective coaching to all employees
Teach policies and procedures according to McDonald’s standard
Act as a trusted expert on McDonald’s policies and procedures
Support coworkers by helping other trainers with tasks as needed
Facilitate monthly trainings for Crew Trainers in the organization
Food Safety
Adhere to all food safety standards
Educate crew members on food safety standards
Internal Communication
Provide ongoing feedback to management on crew member performance
Ask for feedback from crew & managers
Communicate effectively and professionally with immediate supervisor, advising of any changes or needs
Safety & Security
Educate crew members on safety and security rules
Adhere to safety & security rules
Training will be provided
Recommended Experience
Restaurant background/experience (McDonald’s preferred)
Prior experience as a trainer or similar position
Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches
Basic working knowledge of technology and ability to use online training materials

Starting range is from $16-$18 per hour, depending upon experience and availability.
