Your Responsibilities
As a Master Scheduler for John Deere Foundry located in Waterloo, IA, you will...
Create and maintain internal blast and paint schedules based on customer demand, production capabilities, and current inventory
Create optimized shipping and warehouse schedules that honor manufacturing constraints and delivery dates to customers
Measure performance to plan of internal and external suppliers
Ensure systems accurately reflect material requirements and inventories as driven by forecast and actual orders
Ensure accurate and timely flow of trailers, containers, and warehouse movements
Clearly communicate schedules to external operations and downstream customers

What Skills You Need
Understanding of routings and flow of material in SAP
Ability to track inventory, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and SAP
Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
What Makes You Stand Out
Foundry experience and knowledge of foundry manufacturing processes
Experience with Production Control systems, preferably within John Deere
Experience working with external suppliers (chip and grind, paint, warehouse, machine shops, etc.)
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
