Master Data Analyst
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Master Data Analyst/Steward to join our team in Irving, Texas.

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing master data to increase data quality, support data integrity and integration across applications. The Master Data Analyst is empowered to act as a subject matter expert on the definition and design of master data elements and develops and documents processes accordingly. The Master Data Analyst will support the implementation of Heidelberg Materials’ Master Data Management strategy to ensure data standardization, quality, governance and establish a single source-of-truth.
The Master Data Analyst role is based in Irving, Texas, and reports directly to the Director of Master Data Management & Governance.
What you’ll get to do
Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes in alignment with other functional departments
Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
Conduct data cleansing to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access
Support defect resolution
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Digital (IT) to create and manage integrated data assets
Liaise with Heidelberg Materials’ global Business Service center in supporting global standardization initiatives
Assist in defining and implementing governance standards
Essential Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
1 - 3 years of experience in data analysis, data management or data stewardship
Proactive thinker
Excellent Excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoys working with data
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience with SAP
Experience with SAP Information Steward
