POSITION SUMMARY The Massage Therapist supports the Healing ArtsDepartment team and provides excellent, professional massage services toguests as part of an integrated healing experience. This role isresponsible for performing therapeutic massages on guests whilemaintaining a therapeutic, safe, and clean environment. Th idealcandidate should have excellent verbal and interpersonal communicationskills. Time management is essential in this role. We are looking forsomeone who is friendly and professional and takes pride in providing ahigh level of service to guests. The candidate should be highlyorganized and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. SCHEDULE PerDiem ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES - Performs multiple modalitiesof quality, while giving exceptional guest service. - Creates anenvironment of safety for the guests, handling questions and concernsprofessionally and courteously; accurately listens to clients during themassage and adjust pressure/techniques to meet their needs - Maintainsproper start/stop times for treatments, per Healing Arts protocol. -Works independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team -Ensures guest satisfaction and comfort throughout the treatment -Handles guests\' questions and concerns professionally and courteously -Ability to stand, bend and perform duties required - Maintainscomposure, even in difficult situations - Performs prep work andproperly clean and restock room as required. - Stays informed ofdepartmental/company information and updates through emailcommunications and staff meetings (seasonal). - Understands all productsand proper usage - Other duties as assigned. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS -Must Possess a MA License in Massage Therapy - Effective verbal, writtenand listening skills
