　　As a Planner, you will be part of a fast-paced environment, supporting Project Managers for services related to transportation planning, state/federal environmental reviews and documentation, land use analysis, policy research and implementation. If you enjoy working on multiple projects & collaborating with others, this is a great opportunity!

　　What You Will Be Doing:

　　Assisting Project Managers with corridor planning, transportation needs analysis, alternatives evaluation and screening, and impact assessments.

　　Performing basic computations, researching and preparing rough drafts of preliminary reports, feasibility studies, and state/federal level environmental reviews.

　　What We Are Looking For:

　　Knowledge and prior experience with environmental review and documentation, as it pertains to compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

　　Experienced in working with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and stakeholders on transportation projects

　　Knowledge of transportation planning methods and application at the local and regional level

　　Experience researching methods and statistical principles related to urban/rural growth and development

　　Applied knowledge of methods and techniques of effective technical report preparation and presentations

　　Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills

　　Ability to work well within a team atmosphere

　　Proficiency with MS Office suite, Microsoft Teams, Adobe products, and GIS

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelors or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in urban and regional planning, urban studies, natural or environmental sciences, or affiliated degrees.

　　4+ years’ experience working with NEPA documentation and/or environmental review and/or permitting

　　Experience writing and reviewing technical reports, including Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, strongly preferred
