What we are looking for
AscellaHealth is looking for a Project Manager to join their Marketing department to plan, manage, and implement all project plans related to marketing campaigns, project completion, supporting brand guidelines, and quality standards, and meeting delivery deadlines. We are looking for someone to work closely with the CMO and Director of Marketing to turn the company’s marketing strategy and vision into reality. The Project Manager will manage projects from the initial ideation stages to completion. You will work with the CMO to define project scope and requirements and liaise between the marketing and graphics teams and other cross functions of the organization such as Business Development, as needed, to ensure the many different moving parts and complexities of any given project are streamlined, ensuring timeliness and focus. This position requires a unique blend of interpersonal skills and communication acumen, an ability to multitask while retaining attention to detail, and a strong strategic and organizational sense to ensure overlapping timelines and requirements do not hinder progress.
The Marketing Project Manager position is intended to be a hybrid position with occasional office attendance in our Berwyn, PA office.
What the position will be doing
Work with Marketing leadership to map out processes and workflows that will support the execution of various initiatives and tactics like media, press releases, thought leadership content, website development, collateral development, pitch decks, brand development tasks, and strategic marketing/ email campaigns.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.
Ensure that all projects are implemented successfully to meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and delivery deadlines.
Recommend potential improvements to streamline processes and procedures within the Marketing department.
Act as the primary point of contact for requests for marketing and external communications services. Prioritize requests, ensure requests are submitted with the required information, and track projects from intake to completion.
Collaborate closely with internal and external clients to determine project scope and requirements.
Work with marketing team members and/or senior staff to collect deadlines, budgets, objectives, etc., and use that information to establish timelines, brief copywriters and designers and manage progress against dates to ensure the project is delivered successfully.
Set and manage client expectations, develop a detailed project plan, define the scope of the project, understand project risks, and assign appropriate team members to specific tasks.
Create and manage a written and graphic content calendar and schedule deadlines.
Coordinate communications between all relevant parties to ensure projects are developed, revised, presented, and revised again.
Communicate details about Digital and/or Print production with the Sr. Specialist to ensure the maintenance of key vendor relationships to ensure the provision of competitive costs, superior service, quality, and on-time delivery.
Manage external email lists in Constant Contact and/or CRM to ensure appropriate segmentation of audiences, specific customers, and appropriate email versions.
Update lists on an ongoing basis based on new leads, new data pulls, campaign results, etc.
Load new lists into CRM/ constant contact as needed and appropriate.
Stay informed of industry trends and market intelligence. Apply knowledge and suggest new ideas to improve product development and distribution, customer and prospect segmentation, and reporting functionality.
Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remaining flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities
A Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field is required.
3 or more years of progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications.
5 or more years of experience with project management theory and best practices.
Proven track record in project management, managing multiple timelines, and delivering results in a complex organization.
Experience in Pharma/biotech, Healthcare, or Specialty Pharmacy a plus
Social media and digital marketing experience including LinkedIn, LinkedIn advertising campaigns, and keyword search campaigns a plus.
the ability to utilize technology platforms and processes for streamlined project management (Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Project, and CRMs).
Proficient in project intake and management platforms (such as Asana).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
Previous success in implementing and managing multiple marketing initiatives with cross-functional teams in that environment.
Previous experience working with various forms of marketing collateral (print, digital/web, social, video, presentations).
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
Ability to be highly transparent, ethical, and driven. Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, are necessary.
Exceptional oral and written skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to work closely with Senior Management
Ability to think and act independently, formulate, and support new ideas, and champion new initiatives within and beyond the scope of own responsibilities.
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
