  This position is within the Immunodiagnostics Division apart of the Specialty Diagnostics Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

  The Immunodiagnostics Division (IDD) of Thermo Fisher Scientific aims to improve the management of allergy, asthma, and autoimmune diseases by providing healthcare professionals with sophisticated diagnostics technologies and clinical expertise—our key businesses: allergy, autoimmunity, and systems. We are seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee the IFA-based systems, assays and software portfolio.

  A Day in the life

  Market Strategy –

  Lead the go-to-market plan for our IFA-based systems, assays, and software to achieve the goals of the region. This will include the development of the IFA Annual Marketing Plan, value propositions, and customer segmentation.

  You will work closely with the Marketing Managers for Lab Systems and Autoimmunity to establish mutually advantageous approaches to the market and customer segments as overlap between our testing capabilities will be significant.

  You will collaborate with internal colleagues as well as distribution partners globally to continue to assess competition in the space and champion unique approaches to our market and customer segments.

  Sales Excellence –

  You will be the technical marketing voice for our Lab and National Account Sales teams. You will be responsible for supporting our IFA sales cycle in all phases and advancing the clinical and technical value of our testing capabilities with all buyer types.

  You will routinely interact with sales team leadership and individuals to gain feedback on our direction and shape future resource development.

  You will develop and help execute high-value sales initiatives for our sales teams. This will include target analysis, segmentation, and high-volume communication to achieve established goals.

  Marketing Excellence –

  You will ideate, gain internal support, and execute initiatives in support of our IFA solutions.

  You will be responsible for building cohesive marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with the Lab Marketing Team.

  You will build successful working relationships and effectively manage the communication with a variety of internal stakeholders including sales, regulatory, clinical affairs and education, and global marketing.

  Keys to Success

  Education

  Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or similar field.Experience

  2-4 years of work experience in sales, marketing, healthcare consultancy, or similar experience is preferred.

  Working knowledge of the lab diagnostics industry, healthcare or regulated environments is preferred.

  Prior experience with immunofluorescent assay (IFA) testing is highly preferred.

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  High-energy self-starter with a high level of initiative and a hardworking mentality.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  Aptitude for making complex things simple and extracting key messages.

  Experience working well with cross-functional teams.

  Outstanding relationship-building skills and internal networking. Collaboration and engagement are key in this role as you are working on multiple projects across the organization and marketing department.

  Capability to effectively understand, influence, and communicate with internal stakeholders (senior leadership, sales, scientific and medical affairs), and external parties (customers, prospects, key opinion leaders, industry experts).

  Competent in business acumen.

  Great focus and attention to detail.

  Effective problem-solving skills and analytic ability.

  Can make decisions in a fast-paced environment without all the information needed.

  Ability to travel up to 20% travel.
