SET THE COURSE
The Tommy Bahama Internship Program is one of many parts of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives. As such, candidates that represent diverse backgrounds such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, People with Disabilities, Veterans and any other underrepresent group are highly encouraged to apply.
The Marketing Intern will be a part of the Marketing Strategy and Creative Operations team helping plan, develop, deploy, and measure marketing programs with the goals of (1) acquiring new guests (2) retaining current guests (3) reengaging lapsed guests. This person will also get exposure to our Creative Services, Website and Email teams showcasing the range from marketing strategy to creative development all the way up to marketing deployment. The Intern will have the opportunity to interact with and shadow the various marketing and business channel teams including; Paid Digital, PR, Brand, Retail & Restaurant, Wholesale, Licensing, Omni Channel Promotions, Resort, Analytics and Email Marketing.
The Internship will last approximately 8 weeks during 2024 summer break timeframe: Running from June 17th, 2024, and ending August 9th, 2024.
This is a paid internship opportunity.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
Assist Marketing Strategy leads with variety of projects including: writing creative briefs, reviewing creative, analyzing campaign performance.
Set and lead “deep dive” meetings with each marketing channel and marketing business owner to gain an understanding of their role w/in the company, daily work, key projects, and career path.
Attend all project kickoffs and creative reviews
Attend weekly performance meetings with digital agency and TB team
Attend monthly retail marketing meeting, weekly project status meeting, and monthly finance meeting
Flexible for other duties as needed to help support the overall business.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
An expected graduation date of December 2023 or Spring/Summer 2024 in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Design, or related degree preferred
Self-starter attitude and the ability to be a team player within a fast-paced team
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
Strong information seeking-skills and a drive to make things happen
Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse group
