  Job Description Summary:Provide production and administrative support to the Business Development andMarketing staff in carrying out sales, marketing and business developmentactivities.

  Job Description:

  POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Perform all necessary clerical duties as directed, including word-processingand use of other computer applicationsMaintain Business Development database information (Hot/Close/Lead lists)Maintain database of business development client contacts and referencesMaintain follow-up system for assignments and eventsMaintain and update employee qualification resumesGather and compile data for pre-qualification packagesCreate interview materials including boards, PowerPoint presentations,leave-behindsAssist in drafting, editing, and preparing the final copy of businessproposals and qualificationsAssist in maintaining current listsProof and edit proposal write-upsKeep schedule of Business Development activitiesAssist in creating project sheetsAssist in hosting and coordinating marketing events (video tapings,exhibits, seminars, open houses, client parties, and community/charity events)Assist with materials and facilitation of "capture plan" meetingsAccompany Business Development Managers as needed on job walks;pre-qualification meetingsAssist in researching and qualifying leadsAssist in development and production of mailers, promotional literature,brochuresWrite and distribute "Good News" memos as directedComplete other responsibilities as assigned

  MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma and business school training or equivalentMinimum two years administrative/secretarial experienceProficiency in the use of various computer software applications;word-processing, spreadsheets, graphics and databaseExcellent attendance and punctualityReliability, dependability and flexibilityProficient verbal and written English language skillsEffective interpersonal skills Knowledge of construction industry desirableAbility to work overtime as required
