About MARKETING COORDINATOR, GRAPHIC DESIGN

  We are hiring immediately for a MARKETING COORDINATOR position.

  Location: CSU Monterey Bay; 3118 Inter-Garrison Road #552. Seaside, CA 93955 Note: online applications accepted only.

  Schedule: Part time; approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday roughly 10am-3pm. The schedule will be based on business needs and could be a 4 or 5 day work week depending on the week. More details to be provided upon interview.

  Details: The marketing coordinator will be responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, and hosting events, assisting with Dine on Campus, social media calendar development and promotions, acting as a brand representative, conducting marketing audits & general administrative tasks, completing Marketing Boot Camp, survey students to collect marketing research, creating marketing materials to numerous specifications, managing signage in multiple locations, assisting with the creation of concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate messages to the target market, managing the website and social networking profile content, attending meetings or other events as required, and other duties as assigned.

  Requirement: 1-2 years of graphic design and retail experience

  Reports to: Unit Marketing Manager

  Starting pay: $23 per hour

  Job Summary

  The Marketing Coordinator reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, holds duties related to sales and marketing. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously, accurate distribution of pertinent information both internally to all departments as well as to clients and related vendors. Excellent client skills in presentation and marketing ability.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Hands-on support at events, unit set up, program implementation

  Database management

  Coordinates content needed for marketing initiatives

  Coordinates field marketing requests and activities

  Works within provided budgets and guidelines

  Assists with presentations and proposals

  Develops and maintains strong working relationships with field managers.

  Works with vendors and agencies

  Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.

  Maintains promotional inventory, fulfillment

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Minimum two plus year’s prior experience in marketing.

  Background or interest in hospitality/food

  Proficient in MS Office; experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS systems a plus.

  Multi-task in deadline-driven team environment, adjust to changing priorities

  Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills

  Attention to detail

  AS in Marketing or business related field

  Flexible schedule, evenings/weekends and possible travel required
